Big Horn County Superintendent of Schools, Sandy Watts, was elected in 2006 and is serving her first term.

She has a current Class 1 Level 1 MT teacher's license with a Master's Degree in Computer Science K-12, Elementary K – 8 curriculum, and Library Science Endorsement. She is a graduate of MSU-B and Lesley College which has now merged with Boston College .
